This interactive class allows people to explore whether they are ready to jump into the lifestyle of the small business owner.  Topics covered include:

Financial Education

Classes on financial education topics are available through out the year.  These range from basic budgeting to credit repair.   Classes are posted on the calendar.

Business Development Training

This training is our core offering to help people examine the feasibility of their new business idea or look at the profitability of an improvement in their existing business.   We offer a new series of classes each quarter.  Classes are held one evening per week from 6:30 until 9:00 in Seattle, Kent and Bremerton. The following are basic descriptions of each class session in the 8-week course:

  • Class 3 -  Break Even On Your Business
  • Class 4 -  Organize Your Business

Business Coaches

One of the benefits of attending our business development training is the help and support offered by our volunteer business coaches.  Coaches are present at each class and help apply the teachings to each student’s business plan.  To apply for a volunteer coach position, visit our volunteer page

Community Based Business Training (CBBT)

In order to better meet the needs of newcomer communities; immigrants and refugees, Washington CASH is providing our basic business training in culturally specific communities.  We currently offer classes in the following languages:  Somali, Amharic, and Spanish.  The CBBT program's  first class is dedicated to  how to conduct business in the  U.
