Rigbe Fessahatsion

Asset Manager

 

Rigbe FessahatssionRigbe is responsible for administering the Individual Development Account (IDA) program at Washington CASH. Rigbe also recruits and trains volunteers as mentors and instructors, provides one-on-one business consulting to clients, and coordinates the group technical assistance workshops. Rigbe comes to Washington CASH from the National Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW), a non-governmental organization in Africa, where as a project officer she prepared project proposals, monitored, evaluated and reported on ongoing projects, as well as acted as Micro-credit and Saving Program (MCSP) coordinator. While at NUEW for three and half years, Rigbe particularly enjoyed managing the Handcraft Project which trained female heads of household to develop handcraft skills to generate income. Prior to NUEW, Rigbe was an instructor of accounting principles with the National Computer Service in Asmara, Eritrea.
