Virginia Schindler
Finance Director
Virginia serves as the Finance Director of Washington C.A.S.H. She joined the organization for the opportunity to work more directly with clients.
Virginia has 30 years of accounting experience in both for profit and nonprofit accounting. She spent six years with the CPA firm Berkman, Burgher & Co., managing the accounts of 25 small businesses, before turning her talents to accounting for nonprofit agencies. She has worked in nonprofit organizations as a Finance Director for ten years and Accounting Manager, supervising the accounting department in a $9M agency, for the five years prior to joining Washington C.A.S.H.
Virginia gained a deep respect for the difficulties that small business owners encounter while providing accounting services. Helping individuals who struggle to reach their goals in life has always been one of Virginia’s passions. She is therefore eager to assist individuals who would not otherwise have the means to launch a business without training and financial assistance.
