Josie Gregg
IDA Program Manager
Josie manages the Individual Development Account (IDA) program. The IDA program is a matched savings program that offers entrepreneurs a vehicle to build savings habits and assets for their business. Josie also teaches the Financial Management Certification Program, a 4-month course that covers a number of topics in both personal and businesses finances.
Josie loves working with Washington C.A.S.H. entrepreneurs and is excited to be a part of an organization that empowers entrepreneurs and proactively assists in breaking the cycle of the working poor.
Prior to Washington C.A.S.H., Josie wrote grants and organized philanthropic efforts at Capitol Hill Housing, where she observed the immense need for asset building for individuals in low income situations. Prior to becoming IDA manager, Josie provided assistance in multiple areas, such as facilitating peer support groups, providing technical assistance, and managing both the volunteer and microloan program.
Josie graduated with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Nonprofit Leadership from Seattle University. She also has had extensive training in creating Effective and Engaging Financial Education through the Assets for Independence program.
Outside of Washington C.A.S.H., Josie enjoys exploring the local music and arts scene of Seattle.
