Jorji Knickrehm

Director of Investments and Partnerships

http://washingtoncash.org/webfm_send/478Jorji develops relationships with institutional funders (foundations, governmental, corporate, and community funders), develops new programs through collaboration with the ED and program staff, writes grant proposals to support those programs, manages grant contracts, and stewards relationships with funders. Jorji also manages the Evaluations Coordinator to effectively evaluate program metrics and to ensure timely submission of governmental and other funder reports on a quarterly basis.

Her support of microenterprise development stems from observing, as a child, her mother launch and run her own small business, and the expansion of confidence and opportunities that resulted.

Jorji has been building relationships with the foundation, corporation, and government funders who share Washington C.A.S.H.’s mission for nearly six years. She is currently serving as Board President for the Puget Sound Grantwriters Association. Jorji comes to microenterprise development via the theatre world. She graduated from Oregon State University and Circle In the Square Theatre School in New York City before switching to the fund development side of theatre and serving as development director for SecondStory Repertory in Redmond.

On the side, Jorji pursues triathlons, reading, skiing, drawing, painting, traveling, and her two kids.
