Brittany tracks the outcomes of Washington C.A.S.H.’s programs by monitoring the client database and coordinating evaluative surveys. She also uses that data to report C.A.S.H.’s successes to funders.

Her interest in promoting economic self-sufficiency, as well as a passion for communicating the successes of nonprofit organizations, brought Brittany here.

Before coming to Washington C.A.S.H., Brittany spent time working with various organizations whose goals were all related to helping low-income individuals find paths out of poverty. She worked briefly as an elementary school social worker in Pennsylvania, where she liaised between parents and teachers to help identify student’s educational barriers. She also spent significant time as a volunteer counselor at a crisis pregnancy center where she helped clients set goals to stabilize their relational, emotional and financial situations.  She will complete her Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Washington in spring of 2011, with a focus in social policy. As part of that program, she spent three months performing a comprehensive analysis of a mortgage assistance program for low-income families in Washington D.C in 2010.

Outside of Washington C.A.S.H., Brittany spends a lot of time cooking and enjoying food of all types. She also aspires to someday be a painter, yogi, and world traveler.
