David De Bruyn, Treasurer
Dave is Treasurer of the Board and Chairman of the Finance Committee for Cascade Sierra Solutions (CSS), a non profit dedicated to elimination air pollution from trucks serving the ports and highways of the I-5 corridor. CSS has financed about $52 million for new trucks and equipment to reduce emissions and enhance fuel economy for existing trucks. Dave also does volunteer work clearing and maintaining trails in North Kitsap County and is a steward for the Nature Conservancy's Foulweather Bluff Preserve. He led a successful effort to reduce storm and sewer water pollution as President of the North Kingston Community Association.
Dave worked 34 years for the Environmental Protection Agency most of the time in the Seattle Regional Office in a variety of positions. Most of that time was in clean air running grant programs. Before that Dave served for 2 1/2 years in the Peace Corps in the Fiji Islands. Dave has a BA in Economics from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
